Lynette Jensen began her real estate career in 2005 after her oldest child, Dane started college. She had spent her entire career in politics before children and this was the time to make a switch. After a friend suggested real estate as a good fit, Lynette jumped in full force and hasn't looked back for 15 years!
She has lived in the Tanglewood area since 1991 and this naturally became her favorite group of neighborhoods and where she does most of her business. "The best part of my job is finding a client's ideal home and I have a knack for learning what a buyer wants after the first time showing homes," Lynette shared. Whether she has a buyer who she can help find a dream home for or a seller who she can get creative with marketing plans, Lynette enjoys every side of the business.
Tanglewood may be Lynette's stomping grounds, but she has done business all over DFW and has even had some interesting encounters, even with wildlife. "I showed a two-story home in Keller once and out the windows we saw giraffes and zebras. I told my clients that this type of thing would never again happen in my career!"
In the real estate industry it is so important to know about the different neighborhood lifestyles and Lynette loves exploring new places all the time to stay on top of the newest and latest She especially loves to walk the Trinity Trails with her pup and find great new Happy Hour spots (we all probably have that in common!).
Lynnette and her pup, who happens to be a beautiful Silky Terrier named Addison do more than just walking the Trinity; Addison is a busy show dog who is halfway to her championship! Lynette puts a lot of effort into showing and even grooms Addison herself. Talk about dedication.
Vacation: Cuchara, CO where she and her family have a vacation home. "There is nothing better than a walk in the forest to heal the soul" Lynette added.
Restaurant: Like all of us, there was not just one! Joe T's | Benitos | Don Pablos | Fixe | Press Cafe | Meso Maya | Red Hot and Blue...just to name a few!
Drinks: Non-alcholic: Matcha Lemonade | alcoholic: Chardonnay
Things you didn't know
Lynette was raised with horses and started riding English when she was 8 years old. When her mother passed away in 1991
they had a 30-acre horse farm in Comfort, Texas and had 27 horses to rehome.
She calls herself a bit of a science nerd! She loves science and also studied art in college and even paints in her spare time.
A perfect date would be hiking in the woods followed by a big lunch with great friends and drinks.
We are thrilled to have Lynette as part of the Burt Ladner family!
